Please join Dr. Patrick Plaisance of CSU as he explores fake news, good journalism, and perceived bias in reporting.
He will delve into the world of fake news: what it is, where it comes from, and how to spot it.
While exploring the world of fake news, Dr. Plaisance will also give you steps to find reputable news in today's information saturated world.

Dr. Plaisance is Professor of journalism and media communication at Colorado State University where he teaches media ethics, reporting and communication theory. His research focuses on the value systems, ethical orientations and other factors that influence the decisions of media professionals. He is the author of Virtue in Media: The Moral Psychology of Excellence in News and Public Relations He also serves as Editor of the Journal of Media Ethics. .
