Preschool storytimes are full of stories, fingerplays, music, games and a craft activity to make and take home. Preschoolers are able to sit longer for stories and are mastering the craft activities to help get ready for school.

The Library is excited to have Reading Buddies available to support young readers by playing a reading game developed by Zirkel: A Reading Adventure! The Zirkel game is designed to engage children in a fun reading experience while encouraging them to practice important reading strategies in an interactive way.

For ages from Birth to 3 and their caregivers. Family members and siblings are also welcome. We cater to the youngest child with Lapsit activities, fingerplays, songs, and of course, books! Repetition is important at this age, so some of the songs and fingerplays we do are the same each week, to give the babies some familiarity with our activities.

Be sure to take in Loveland Public Library's newest adventure in Music & Movement! We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at 10:00am and again at 11:00am for singing, dancing, and learning about music. We meet in the Community Room at the Outlet Mall, 5609 McWhinney Blvd (next to The Studio). Look for the sign.

This is a free hour of fun for both parents and children with a place to hang out and play. Once in awhile, we invite a special guest speaker in to share a Child Development topic.

We are now a Kids Cafe site! Our partnership with the Larimer County Food Bank allows us to offer free, homemade, nutritious snacks to teens on Tuesdays and Thursday from 3-4pm! For more information about this national program go to http://www.foodbanklarimer.org/child-nutrition/.

Program for school aged children in grades 3, 4, and 5 every Thursday during the school year, beginning September 15th. Kids will be introduced to robots, participate in science experiments, get crazy with crafts, and much more! No registration required. Today's program: Eggs.

*Parents with younger children are encouraged to attend Thursday night storytime at 4:15.
