National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing. Not a class on how to write, but a series of get-togethers to do nothing but write - furiously!

On November 1, participants begin working towards the goal of writing a 50,000-word novel by 11:59 PM on November 30.

Library Playgroup is for ages 0-5 years old and their caregivers. We meet on Mondays and Thursdays from 10-11 am in the Gertrude Scott Meeting Room. We provide books, music and toys for a social hour for parents, caregivers and their children to hang out and play, socialize with other parents, and enjoy some non structured time together.

The group meets in the Library's Erion Room on the first Tuesday of each month at 9 AM and 6:30 PM and on the following Wednesday at 9 A.M.
The Library owns at least 10 copies of each title and additional copies are available through Prospector.

The Loveland Public Library is offering free citizenship classes for anyone who would like to prepare for taking the citizenship test. Participants discuss and practice both written test questions and oral interview questions. Classes are open to all community members interested in finding out more about the citizenship process. No registration is required for this.
