There are few topics in today’s news more controversial or polarizing than climate change or, its most famous catch phrase, global warming. Many citizens have formed opinions on one side of the political divide or the other. And therein lies the major issue. Neither (most) politicians nor (most) journalists are experts in climate science but they often speak as if they are and each side will vilify anyone who does not agree with their chosen position. The main questions: is the climate changing and is man contributing?

Join the Library's tatting group to learn the lost art of tatting. Tatting is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops, also know as "pearling" and "wrap weaving".
Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, necklaces, bracelets, and other decorative pieces.

Preschool storytimes are full of stories, fingerplays, music, games and a craft activity to make and take home. Preschoolers are able to sit longer for stories and are mastering the craft activities to help get ready for school.
