Who May
Get a Card:

Any resident of the State of Colorado eighteen (18) years or older.

A person under eighteen (18) years of age with a co-signature from a legally
responsible adult who is liable for the library user's debts. No co-signer
is required for a person under eighteen (18) years of age who is legally
emancipated.

Any non-Colorado resident may receive a library card upon producing a paid
Larimer County property tax statement for the current or previous year.
·
Any temporary resident including people providing a "General
Delivery Address"
may receive a temporary card with
proof of local address and picture identification which shall be good for a
period not to exceed ninety (90) days. Materials may be checked out with a
temporary card upon payment of a deposit. The deposit will be refunded if
all items are returned on time and in good condition.
How to
Get a Card
Applications for library cards may be made
in Spanish and English languages.
All applications require picture
identification and address verification for adult applicants and/or for an
adult signing for a child. Acceptable forms of address verification include
driver’s license, mail postmarked in the past 30 days, checkbook, listing in
the phone directory, utility bills, and rent receipts.
Any person unable to sign an application
with his or her name may sign a mark properly witnessed by a staff member.

Get a Card
Library card applications are available at
the library’s circulation desk near the entrance to the library at 300 North
Adams. Cards are issued until 15 minutes before closing time.
