This month we will be discussing  Lone Women by Victor LaValle.

In 1915, Adelaide Henry flees to Montana as a homesteader, dragging a locked steamer trunk that hides a deadly secret tied to her parents' deaths. As she struggles to tame the harsh frontier, Adelaide discovers that her hidden burden may be her only hope for survival. Lone Women by Victor LaValle is a haunting tale of suspense, survival, and redemption, set against the unforgiving landscape of the American West.
