Newspapers are a great resource for researching one’s ancestors and, unfortunately, they are frequently overlooked by genealogists.  This presentation will provide an overview of the types of information that can be obtained from historic newspapers, the primary web sites for doing newspaper research, foreign language newspaper sources and tips on how to improve your chances for success.
