The Loveland Public Library Summer Learning Program (SLP) is designed for people of ALL ages to continue exploring throughout the summer and foster a joy of learning. Building on traditional Summer Reading programs, Loveland Public Library's Summer Learning Program recognizes that all types of learning are important. Summer is a great time for self-directed reading and learning that leads to improved comprehension, helps overcome opportunity gaps through high-quality, hands-on programs, and fosters social and emotional development. The Library provides opportunities for our community to be inspired, ask questions, and discover new things.
Earn prizes by tracking the days you read from May 22nd - August 1st. Youth ages 0-17 who read and track 40 days by the end of the program will earn a ticket to our pizza and pool party finale. Along with reading, youth can take on BINGO challenges that bring the 'L' in SLP to life through hands-on learning and by introducing them to new types of literature. Completed BINGOs earn youth chances to win exciting prizes. Adults will be entered into a prize drawing if they read for 40 days for a gift basket and $50 Downtown Loveland gift certificate.
