Whether or not you are a new parent, or you are a more "seasoned" caregiver, here you will find helpful information on our storytimes and high, quality early literacy resources. We also have a wonderful staff who are here to help support you and your family, please connect with us – by phone, Facebook, Instagram, or in person.

Storytimes

For the most recent storytime locations, times, and dates, visit the children's events calendar. 

All-ages Online Storytime

Visit our Facebook or YouTube channel for archived storytimes!

Baby & Toddler Storytime

Wednesdays at 10:15 am in the Storytime Room. Recommended for ages 0-3 and their grown-ups.

Preschool Storytime

Wednesdays at 11 am in the Storytime Room.  Recommended for ages 3-5 and their grown-ups.

Family Storytime

Thursdays at 10:15 am in the Storytime Room  Enjoy a half hour of books, songs, and learning activities. Recommended for ages 0-5 and their caregivers, but all ages welcome.

Bilingual Storytime

Thursdays at 11 am in the Storytime Room. Recommended for ages 0-5 and their caregivers.

Jueves a las 11 am en el Salón de Cuentos. Recomendado para niños de 0 a 5 años y sus cuidadores.

 Surprise Reads

Attention all busy caregivers! When you need some new things to read with your kids, fill out a request for some surprise reads. We will contact you when the items are ready to be picked up either directly from our hold shelves, or you can utilize our curbside service!

CSRC provides individualized speech-language and reading therapy. They offer a sliding scale fee structure and pride themselves on meeting the needs of any child who needs our services regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

MOMS Club of Loveland

MOMS Club of Loveland is a local Chapter of the International MOMS Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the at-home mother of today in the community of which she lives. It is a great opportunity for MOMS and their children to meet new friends. They welcome all mothers within their chapter boundaries who are home during the week, as well as mothers who run a home-based business or work part-time outside their home, looking for activities to do with other mothers and children. Please contact them for more information.

 

Storyblocks

Storyblocks is a project of Colorado Libraries for Early Literacy, working in partnership with Rocky Mountain Public Broadcasting Services. It is a collection of 30-60 second videos designed to model to parents, caregivers, and library staff some songs, rhymes, and fingerplays appropriate for early childhood. Each video clip includes helpful early literacy tips to increase caregivers’ understanding of child development and pre-literacy needs.

 

Zero to Three

Zero to Three is a national nonprofit organization that provides parents, professionals, and policymakers the knowledge and know-how to nurture early development.
