Teen Volunteering
Loveland Public Library has two different volunteer opportunities for teens ages 11-17 or in 6th-12th grade.
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) opportunity runs through the school year (September-May) and focuses on designing and implementing teen-led programs and maintaining the Teen Hangout space and materials.
The Summer Learning Program Volunteer opportunity runs through the summer months (June-August). While volunteering over the summer, teens will help give out prizes out and track reading for our Summer Learning Program participants, as well as assist with programs for all ages.
Both opportunities require volunteers to register during the sign-up period through the City of Loveland’s CERVIS portal, mandatory training, and the return of a signed volunteer consent waiver. All volunteers must follow behavioral expectations while volunteering. Volunteers in good standing who meet the criteria will be invited to exclusive teen volunteer appreciation events at the end of the volunteer period.
